7 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

Member Comments:
Alf, thanks for the uplifting words. The promises of God are almost to wonderful to really believe. With all the distractions of the world, it can be all to easy to forget God's promise to one day remake us to be like Jesus. It is good to contemplate what will be one day and to realize this not our home. Thanks, and may the Lord bless you richly.

4 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ 1 PrayingPraying

Comments: This morning my wife and I were meditating over Oswald Chambers words for the day:

"We must continually remind ourselves of the purpose of life. We are not destined to happiness, nor to health, but to holiness." I would've added "wealth".

(Joel Osteen, please pick up the red courtesy phone...)

Mr. Chambers kinda smacked me with that statement, but the good thing is that we have Heaven to anticipate. And I'm up for the trip anytime.
