Great article Pete but I'm a bit confused. You start off with "If you take anything away from this and last week’s article, let me sum it up by saying this; the greater the convergence, the lesser the imminence." However, I would think the greater the convergence (of signs of His soon return?), the greater the imminence, not lesser. Am I missing something?

Comments:

The General definition that Christ's return for the church at the Rapture could be at any moment and is unknowable.

The problem with the word imminent is it has multiple meanings.

Comments: I desperately hope and pray this will all happen soon, as I find it increasingly more difficult to find more reasons to want to stay versus wanting to go home. Frankly, the sooner, the better.

Comments: Another good one Pete.
I keep expecting to see a false Elijah out there somewhere. It seems that close to me at times.

3 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

Comments:

When I wake in the morning, one of the first things I do is check news feeds from overnight. I am exponentially amazed at what I read. Predictably, I will shake my head and say:

"How can so many people be so stupid?"

And my wife will respond:

"The Bible tells how. Why are you always so surprised?"

I never have a good answer for her. I always think, well, maybe today. As much as I'm ready to head up and out, of late I've been distributing more Gospel tracts than I have in years. I need to remind myself - often - through the day that God has not relinquished control of events.
