4 Shout AMEN!Amen ~ PrayingPraying

Great article Wendy.
God is jealous of his deserving title of "Creator". If people that decide to read the Bible could just accept the first sentence as True, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." The rest of the book would be so much easier to understand!
Also, with regard to John's opening statement in his gospel, one definition that I heard many years ago for the word Logos has stuck with me for all these years. It is this: "Logos" both the inward thought and outward expression of God! I love that!
(And I love you too... In Christ!)

Comments: Wendy,

I've been doing some research and study in the Zero Point Energy (ZPE) arena. I've found it incredibly fascinating how ZPE and its associated fields of study so clearly explain, and show, how creation could have happened in six, 24 hour days. It also clears up the mystery of the slow down in the speed of light.

Perhaps these might help in the writing of your book? As usual, another great article! I'm a science nut and love reading how the Bible reaffirms science.

I like that too, Don.  And I concur  that God Makes it clear that He created everything we know and expects the respect due Him as Creator.  It amazed me when I got into it how many times he says in Scripture that He stretched the heavens. Hoping you and Toni are enjoying your vacation.

Wendy, I believe these Scriptures clarify WHO the Word is and answer that question very clearly.

John 1 Amplified Bible (AMP)

The Deity of Jesus Christ

1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word ([a]Christ), and the Word was with God, and [b]the Word was God Himself. 2 He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with God. 3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being. 4 In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines on in the [c]darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it].

The Word Made Flesh

14 And the Word (Christ) became flesh, and lived among us; and we [actually] saw His glory, glory as belongs to the [One and] only begotten Son of the Father, [the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, who is] full of grace and truth (absolutely free of deception).
a.John 1:1 In John the Apostle’s vision (Rev 19), he sees Christ returning as Warrior-Messiah-King, and “...His name is called The Word of God...and LORD OF LORDS.” (Rev 19:13, 16).
b.John 1:1 In this phrase, “God” appears first in the Greek word order, emphasizing the fact that “the Word” (Christ) was God—so “God Himself.”

Exciting Times we are living in!

Praise the Lord!!! Jesus!!!
