Mr. Jerry, if you have to dust this entry, I understand. That being said, I KNOW how powerful mere pornography can be. To quote Gregg Allman (one of your guys from Georgia) "I ain't no angel"; that further being said, I can't throw stones, but thank God, that is in the past. Temptation still arises, but God is good, and I haven't fallen prey in a VERY long time. However, Ashley Madison, just like porno, requires that you ACTIVELY search it out. Where exactly does personal culpability come in? Let's face it...most of the hackees are more embarrassed and ashamed not by using this garbage, but BY BEING CAUGHT! I understand temptation, and I understand that sin is sin, but what the heck, have these people forgot that if the urge hits you, there is something you can do(if you're not strong enough to trust God and resist) that WON'T COST YOU YOUR MARRIAGE, YOUR JOB AS A PASTOR, YOUR REPTUTATION, ETC. WE all do it, it is still a sin, and you feel stupid and rotton after you do it, but God still will forgive you for your weakness. It just costs a whole lot less in the long run, and perverts and gangsters don't profit off your weakness. Like I said, if you have to dust this, then dust it. Somehow, however, I think that you would probably agree. On a lighter note, hope you are feeling better and better!.

Comments: the world is evil and grows more so by the day. we all struggle with some form of sin - it is our flesh - the world and the devil. i am not condoning any sin in my own life or others. is one sin worse than another in god's eyes? sin is sin in god's eyes and none will be able to hide it. i can't wait for my heavenly body - healthy and sinless.
i hope you are feeling better jerry - just think how wonderful a new body will be when jesus comes for us. very thought provoking article even though i tend to not want to even think or talk about stuff like that .

Mike, I totally agree with you, and it is one of the points I wanted to make. Pastors are not Jesus, nor is the Pope, so they will "fall short" of what God wishes. Sex is the most potent of addictions, and everyone has some kind of story to tell.

Putting candy in front of a baby is different than a baby seeking it out. I am not sure if Eve or Adam would have sought out to sin if the serpent hadn't made the sales pitch. I know from my own experiences that sinning is much easier than not. And thanks for the wishes. It has been 4 months and I feel much better.

Thank you for the well-wishes, Martha. I am feeling much better and hard to believe it's been 4 months on Oct 9.  I have no doubts my speedy recovery came at the hands of a great surgeon and a greater God. The prayers from so many were astounding.

Yes, it is difficult to read about such stuff as this, but the internet has made sinning much easier, as though it wasn't easy enough before. Pastors and Priests are and should be held to a higher standard than the common folk, but they are not Jesus. They are mere mortals, aas is the Pope.

It will only get more decadent and I do not think there is a Jonah in our future.
