Interesting...I just read this article today and nothing in it suggests they were killed for being Christian.  Has the article been (conveniently) scrubbed of that fact?  There is nothing suggesting a motive, they don't even reference asking the question.

Yes, Kari I read it.  And yes, I read it was because they were Christian. 

Here is what I read.  The members were Coptic Christians.  I always thought they only existed in Egypt.  You learn something every day.
