Genocide is Genocide

In 1941 Germany, under Nazi control, began the systematic slaughter of Jews. Those who were not murdered, lived as slaves for the German war machine, execution just around the corner.
When the West finally stopped the Holocaust four years later with the liberation of 32,000 Jewish survivors at Dachau Concentration Camp in 1945 by U.S. troops, six million-plus Jews were dead as well as many homosexuals, gypsies, Jehovah’s Witnesses and mentally/health impaired.
According to Eberhard Jäckel, a German historian at the time:
"The murder of the European Jews in the Second World War was unique. Never before did a state decide to kill a specific group of humans-including old people, women, and children-without any reservation or examination of the individual case, and enact this murder with the means of State power."
He further explains:
"He had to annihilate the Jews, thus restoring the meaning of history, and with the thus restored, nature-intended struggle for existence, he at the same time had to conquer new living space for the German people. Each of these tasks was inextricably linked to the other. Unless the Jews were annihilated there would very soon no longer be any struggle for living space, nor therefore any culture and consequently nations would die out; not just the German nation, but ultimately all nations. But if, on the other hand, the German people failed to conquer new living space, it would die out because of that and the Jews would triumph".
Why did it take four years and ten million murders for the West to take decisive action to stop the systematic murder of two-thirds of Europe’s Jews? The term Genocide had not even been coined at that time and originated because of the horror of the holocaust.
We have had other genocides, though the world seems complacent to label them as such.
There was the systematic murder of the Armenian Christians by the Islamic Ottoman Empire (Turkey). From 1915 to the early 1920s, nearly two million Christians from Armenia were massacred; and most remaining were deported from the land.
Though most historians today and those with common sense now refer to this slaughter as a genocide, the Turkish government does not. And no one in Turkey dares refer to it as what it is: genocide. They too might lose their head. The Turkish apparently do not consider the intentional murder and disposal of 1,500,000 Christians worthy of genocidal behavior. Wonder how many they would’ve had to murder for the slaughter to meet the definition.
So what is Genocide?
According to history.com, genocide is the murder of a group because of their “national, ethnical, racial or religious profile” with the intent to destroy the entire group. Of course, this is exactly what happened during the Armenian Christian genocide.
During the Clinton administration, the Rwanda Genocide occurred. During the three months from April to July, 1994, the Hutus murdered nearly 900,000 Tutsis. Why? Because they were Tutsis. Of the Rwandan population, Hutus made up 85%.
What about the slaughter of Christians today because they are Christians, or the slaughter of Shi’a Muslims because they aren’t Sunni Muslims? How many of these groups have to be killed before the world will call a spade a spade?
March 14, 2016 CNN reported:
Washington (CNN)The House of Representatives on Monday unanimously passed a resolution labeling the ISIS atrocities against Christian groups in Syria and Iraq "genocide," a term the State Department been reluctant to use about the attacks and mass murders by the terror group…
Under a deadline set by Congress, the State Department has until March 17 to formally to decide whether it will issue a comprehensive genocide designation, but it is expected to miss the deadline.
"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.” Jesus Christ
“In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted…” The Apostle Paul
A lot of pressure is on the current U.S. administration to call this genocide what it is, but it is doubtful it will happen until the next president. We have an anti-Israel administration with a pro-Muslim staff. Like Turkey, an Islamic mindset does not seem to believe the murder of Christians is worthy of the term.
A recent publication from the Knights of Columbus, 280 pages, outlines an undeniable plan: ISIS intends to wipe Christianity from the face of the earth. Actually, the plan includes all religious groups except ISIS, because they think they are chosen. They are correct, but they have been chosen by the other side. They are the personification of Satanism.
During the Apostle John’s vision in Revelation, he saw a lot of people in heaven standing around, dressed in white robes. Someone asked him who these were? Revelation 7:9-17
They were the people killed during the time of Jacob’s troubles, those who were beheaded simply because they would not reject Jesus and embrace Muhammad. They refused to take the name of the beast. Every day it becomes clearer as to who the beast will be.
I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 20:4 NIV
For the thousands of Christians being murdered in the Middle East Islamic lands, it is the time of Jacob’s troubles for them. I have no doubt where they ended up.
