Merry Christmas from Muhammad and Devotees      Average Rank of 4.87 Stars
Israel - Middle East
December 30, 2016 - Alf Cengia
The Prophet Muhammad's legacy of terror has reached out from the past and wished many western Christians another merry Christmas. It's an upward trend.

United States Betrays Israel: Why?      Average Rank of 4.89 Stars
Israel - Middle East
December 29, 2016 - J.L. Robb
One reason: It had to happen. This may seem like a simplistic answer to a complicated question, but not really. It is similar to the question asked for the last 2,000 years as to why the Jews “killed” Jesus. If they had not, Jesus would not have been the Messiah. It was written that a messiah would be revealed to the Jewish people, but he would be rejected and killed by those he came to save.

Happy New Year?      Average Rank of 4.85 Stars
Prophecy - Signs
December 28, 2016 - Wendy Wippel
I hope one and all had a blessed remembrance of our Lord’s birth and found exactly what they wanted under their respective trees.  But does anybody else get the feeling, from our daily headlines, that those of us waiting for the Lord’s return and according to a boat load of verses in the New Testament, we all should be, right? It seems to indicate that we may have another reason for celebration coming? One spelled R-A-P-T-U-R-E ?

The Cradle, the Cross and the Crown      Average Rank of 4.93 Stars
Prophecy - Signs
December 26, 2016 - Pete Garcia
During the Christmas Season, it is fitting for Christian households and churches to focus on the first coming of Jesus Christ.  In times past, and perhaps not so much anymore, one could see the manger scenes in town squares and in front of churches of all denominations.  Christmas cards bearing the Star or the three Wisemen are passed amongst believers during this season.  Preachers preach predominantly from Matthew 1-2, churches hold cantatas and the sounds of “peace on earth, good will toward men” fill the ears of believers round the world.  Bethlehem, Israel becomes the focus of world stage once again, as Christian’s flock to the Church of the Nativity, which is currently held hostage by the Palestinian movement.

A Covenant Keeping God      Average Rank of 4.83 Stars
In Defense of the Faith
December 23, 2016 - Alf Cengia
We worship a covenant keeping God. Our salvation depends upon that fact. If God doesn't keep His word, we can't depend upon promises such as John 3:16.

Prophecy - Signs
December 22, 2016 - Wendy Wippel
Somewhere amid the European Christmas tradition we inherited as Americans and the stuff we invented ourselves (flying reindeer? Snow, holly, and mistletoe?  The Grinch?  Wenceslas and Wassail?  Santa Claus?) we have lost any appreciation for the utter Jewishness of the events we celebrate. That it was Jewish prophecies being fulfilled. A long-awaited Jewish King being born. I like my corn -pone brand of Christmas, but so much more awaits us when we put the birth of Christ into the proper context. Starting with Malachi.

One Fat and Sassy Church      Average Rank of 4.90 Stars
Globalism - Ecumenism
December 21, 2016 - Wendy Wippel
Believers see the UN’s Agenda 2030 as a blueprint for one-world government ratified September 25, 2015 as a harbinger of the seven-year period called the Tribulation. Doubters point to the persistence of deep divisions in world views, most significantly with respect to religion. No argument there. But when the church is gone only delusion will remain.

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”  Matthew 2:1-2

December 16, 2016 - Alf Cengia
Some time ago a scholarly friend wrote a series on getting the rapture right on his blog. While I didn't agree with everything, I liked that he wasn't dogmatic. He came to his pretribulational conclusion in logical and humble fashion.

Alas, Aleppo      Average Rank of 4.74 Stars
Terror - Islam
December 14, 2016 - Wendy Wippel
I have been trying to follow the Battle for Aleppo, I really have. But the sound-bite news coverage that both TV and online have reverted to (even on Fox News you hear way more about Brad and Angie then you do Al-Bashir) makes it hard, and the multiple factions involved only add to my confusion. One thing I know, Aleppo is a complete an unadulterated tragedy.

Itís the End of the World, Now What?      Average Rank of 4.84 Stars
Prophecy - Signs
December 12, 2016 - Pete Garcia
Hal Lindsey’s been saying now for the better part of 50 years, that Christ’s return is imminent, but I fear that for many, apocalypse fatigue is setting in. The "Left Behind" series sparked a huge renewed interest into the idea of the Rapture and for what follows, but even that excitement seems to have faded. With all the geo-political, economic, and technological changes happening every day, modern man’s attention span is steadily decreasing.

December 09, 2016 - Alf Cengia
I often speak about my New Age past. By now I suppose a lot people are cringing..."Here he goes again." Please bear with me. One reason I do this is because I'm eternally thankful for God's faith and patient love in delivering me from that lifestyle.

Aubrey de Grey, gerontology researcher at the University of Cambridge (England), is famous for asserting (confidently) that the next few decades will see huge increases in human lifespans.  His exact words, in fact, were, “the first person to live to be 1000 years old is certainly alive today”.

Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name…So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”  Revelation 13:1,4
